Welcome to Scott and the 6A team. We are so excited to have the opportunity to work with your wonderful children this year. Thanks for sharing them with us!

For those of you have heard of (or witnessed) my clutzy side, I know this may be hard to believe, but I started my teaching career as a Physical Education teacher at Everett Elementary (don’t laugh!) I also spent many years there teaching 1st grade before making the move to Hill Elementary where I taught 2nd grade, 4th grade and Writing. I made the move to Scott sixteen years ago and plan on staying put for a very long time. I have never been happier. As I am sure many of you have come to realize, Scott is a GREAT place to be!

My husband, Jeff, and I have 2 children, Cole and Maddison. Cole graduated from UNO and works for Benesch as an engineer, and Maddison graduated from UNL with a degree in psychology and works at The Bridge. They both manage to keep me busy with their activities in my spare time. I also have the cutest dogs in the world! Mollie, our Morky (Maltese and Yorky,) and our new Bouvier puppy, Bert, add a lot of humor and spice to our lives! I also have a German Shepherd granddog named Delia.

I anticipate many great things happening in 6A this year! Come and visit us when you get the chance.

My Hobbies

Although I have many hobbies, my true passions include reading, writing and photography. Fifteen years ago, I collaborated with seven colleagues to publish the book, Composing a Teacher Study Group.   I continue to write daily and hope to be able to publish again in the near future.
